well narrated and enjoyable story. doesn't require too much concentration! This author seems to have Moroccan love affair as theme for all her books

Absolutely loved this..it took a turn that I was not expecting and propelled me into a different world, but then the story unfolded and I was completely hooked. Beautifully written and fabulously read. Already searching for another of her stories..thank you Jane Johnson.

I have lived in Cornwall for over half a century so will warn the audible listener that although I highly recommend this as a story the narration done in 2008 may be irritating due to the persistent mispronunciation of surnames and place names. The narrator’s voices are fine. Spoiling the ship for a hap’ny worth of tar springs to mind.
