Vincent, also known as xVerity in his Single Dads Support Group chat, is used to being alone after his marriage ended in a disaster. Life is tough as a single father, but Vincent has found support and friendship with his online chat group. When Lawrence, one of the other chat group members, invites Vincent to his wedding, Vincent is looking forward to celebrating the happy moment with his friends as well as scoping out the city where he’ll be moving to for a new job. The last thing Vincent expects to find in Aurora is love, but that’s exactly what happens when he meets Mal. Mal is an older omega who’s experienced the ugly side of life. Moving forward has been hard for Mal, but he’s finally ready to be father and has taken the next steps to meet that goal. However, becoming pregnant is harder than Mal expected, and he’s quickly loosing hope. Together Vincent and Mal will have to work together to make their dreams come true and start the family they both desire.
I loved this book. Both Vincent and Mal were wonderfully complex characters that captured my heart. Each man had to overcome their own insecurities and fears while also learning how to trust the other. There relationship was sweet and beautiful with some of the hottest sex scenes I’ve read this month. The plot was intricate and interesting with enough drama to keep me on the edge of my seat.
Michael Ferraiuolo narrates the audiobook and does a spectacular job. Michael’s voice has so much range and flexibility. I love how he voice each character and makes them distinct and easy to tell apart. He brings the book to life with his performance. The energy he puts into the narration helps keep the book dynamic and not once was I bored with the narration. The audiobook production was well done and there were no glitches or errors.
Mal's Happy Ever After

Book three has a rollercoaster of emotions, feels and sexy sexy times, I loved it. Fair warning there is some talk of past abuse and PTSD which is sensitively done but maybe a trigger for some.
Mal has popped in several of Piper Scott’s other books and finally he gets his happy ever after. He is advancing in age and is running out of time to become a daddy.
Vincent has moved to Aurora for work and a fresh start, to be his truth. They have a hot first meeting which sets the tone for them, some ups and downs ensued but love is ever present, the chemistry and dynamic between the two is hot and steamy. We also meet Nikki a very mature and precocious 6 year old that prompted the formation of the Single Dad Support Group, We also finally meet Harley and Knos with plans in place for them to visit soon.
I loved this book just as much as the others I highly recommend the whole series wether you read it or listen to Michael Ferraiuolo do an amazing job narrating. I would definitely start with the first book The Problem and fall in love with the support group and their antics. Now waiting for the next one (impatiently I might add).

Both men haven’t had the easiest of lives and it really is about time that they could live a happier life. This is a fantastic story of the men learning to trust the other and discovering that their happiness lies with the other.
Narrator Michael Ferraiuolo narrates all the characters wonderfully. The best thing for me about listening to an audiobook after having read the book is that a good narrator brings the characters to life and makes me feel like I’m experiencing it for the first time all over again.
A wonderfully written and narrated story - definitely a must listen if you enjoy this kind of book.

I really liked the story and what the two men go through to get their HEA. Vincent has already fought to be his own personal best self and it's a twist I wasn't expecting but adds something extra to the emotion and fight that he gives for Mal. Mal also has his own history of what he's been through in life, even still suffering from nightmares, but he's never had the love and support of another like what Vincent is offering and when the two men grow close and offer that to each other, it gives off all the warmm and fuzzy feelings. I was especially in love with Nikki, Vincent's daughter. She's a total scene and heart stealer!
Things definitely get interesting as the couple are not afraid to get on the kinky side and explore together, adding in a daddy/boy dynamic whenever they get physical really adds some heat. I always love when it's twisted around when the omega is in a daddy role with the alpha as boy.
Another great story with a lot of feelings, memories and stress with everything that the couple go through and have to hide. Love getting to meet another member of the Single Dad's support group and I cannot wait to find out Knot and Love Harley's stories. The more we read of them through a chat group, the more intrigued I am as to who they are. It was fun when they all finally got to meet for Laurence and Alex's wedding but we need more of them together! Definitely a recommended read/listen and I look forward to the next installment.
Again, Michael Ferraiuolo is amazing as a narrator. He really draws you into the story from the first moment and just holds you attention throughout. The voices he provides are full of emotion and depth, making it more than just reading a story but getting into it and bringing the characters to life.
