Summary

Dante Galand has cured the sickness that trapped him on the Plagued Islands. Now it's time to leave. And kill a priest.

The target is Gladdic of Bressel. Gladdic, who executed Dante's friend, the pirate Captain Twill. Who all but enslaved the Plagued Islands. And whose visions of empire are far from over.

But Gladdic is trained in both ether and nether - and a darker magic than Dante has ever known. He's the most dangerous foe Dante has faced. And if Dante falls, so will an entire kingdom.

Set in a USA Today best-selling world, The Silver Thief is the second book in the Cycle of Galand.

Excellent all round

An excellent addition to 'the cycle' books. The narrator is top notch and the story is riveting from start to finish.

Cannot wait for the next one

So, picked up the first book because it was a good deal and I love fantasies. Bought the last two because I grew to love the characters and the stry lines zipped along at a great pace. Now can't wait for the next book. Just about to look for the authors other books.

Once again, truly enjoyable!

One of the very best narrators I've ever listened to, and I love the exceptional humour in the characters' dialogue - albeit not quite to the level of The Cycle of Arawn. I'd highly recommend this series to anyone interested in Fantasy!

exceptional.

This entire series has been incredible in every way. including value for money.
the only slight issue in this audiobook is that it sounds slightly tinny. I stopped caring about this as soon as the story started properly.
exceptional.

Dynamic Duo

The dynamic duo of Dante and Blays who’s banter and quick dry wit always makes the story line both fresh and enjoyable. Nothing ever seems easy for our two heroes, the story is well written to keep you on the edge of your seat guessing what will happen next “disaster or success” the narrator is gifted on bringing all the characters to life and an itching desire to see Gladdic get his rightful rewards each time he speaks. Superb audio book after listening to 5 books in the series I will definitely be following the two heroes on their next adventure.

Please Listen To CYCLE OF ARAWN First...

Any additional comments?

Tim Gerard Reynolds is easily one of the great master narrators on Audible. And this book is well-paced, quippy, and leagues above the average. BUT... please don't let anyone convince you that the GALAND books stand on their own without reading the Cycle Of Arawn first! It's not true. (This happened to me. Don't let it happen to you.) Go back and get the full experience. The conclusions absolutely depend on each other. Do it... but do it right. You'll thank me later.

Great story and amazing reader!

This has been such a great listen. It reminds me of the days when I was young and a captivating teacher would read us a story that lead our minds through an unforgettable journey. Edward Robertson is truly a gifted writer. Tim Gerard Reynolds makes this story come alive. These two together make it very difficult not to complete the books in one day! I can't wait for the next book!
