Having listened to all the diaries of Chips Channon, I found this to be an interesting novel. It certainly made me think of what life must have been like in fir the rich I. The 1930’s. It was interesting and I enjoyed it.

Too much about Doris went on and on about her lovers and all the rest of it. Not enough detail about Honor and how she felt about her husband and homesexual affairs. Did she know about them? missed a lot out.
