I has not idea that cortisol plays such a big role in our general well being. The audiobook brings an understanding to this subject by defining it and by stating the outcome it can have on the body when there in a imbalance of it. Now that I understand the role Cortisol play in mood regulation, detoxification and general health, I will be more intentional about addressing it. I liked that the book includes a section of recipes that we can use to help us balance Cortisol levels. I found this book useful. The Eisenhower Matrix was a great strategy shared the and help organzce better in general by prioritizing my needs.

This is an extremely informative book. From explaining the role Cortisol has on weight gain and energy depletion to many receipts that help fight against Cortisol. Also, the book goes above and beyond to tell you about anti-inflammatory foods, daily check lists, and much more. This is definitely a book that you can read, but also be able to reference back to later on if you’re like me and forget everything. I highly recommend this book.
