About this listen
In the LAPD's Open-Unsolved Unit, not many murder victims die almost a decade after the crime. So when a man succumbs to complications from being shot by a stray bullet nine years earlier, Bosch catches a case in which the body is still fresh, but any other evidence is virtually nonexistent.
Now Bosch and his new partner, rookie Detective Lucia Soto, are tasked with solving what turns out to be a highly charged, politically sensitive case. Starting with the bullet that's been lodged for years in the victim's spine, they must pull new leads from years-old information, which soon reveals that this shooting may have been anything but random.
Read by Titus Welliver, star of the Bosch TV series.

Enjoy!
Another Great Bosch Novel - I really hope that it's not the last!

What did you like most about The Burning Room?
Typical Harry Bosch story which keeps you interested until the end. Also good to have new characters which Connelly developed well.Who was your favorite character and why?
Has to be Bosch. Makes the rules up to suit the case, which make for a good story. How did the narrator detract from the book?
I really looked forward to Titus Welliver reading this now that he plays Bosch on screen, however no attempt was made to alternate the voice for different characters, and the slow monotone voice didn't help either. Perhaps would have been better if other narrators read the female parts of the book.Any additional comments?
Len Cariou and Dick Hill should be retained for the next Bosch books.Great story but let down by narrator
