Summary

Poppy Maysen carries a journal in her purse. Its pages were filled long ago by a man who craved adventure, lived life to the fullest, and never failed to make her laugh. The journal is his birthday list - one she vows to complete.

She'll do the things he wanted to do most. Because maybe, just maybe, if she can finish his list, she can start to live again.

Poppy expects going through the birthday list will be hard. She expects it to hurt. But what she doesn't expect is Cole. Could the man who watched her heart shatter be the one to put it back together again?

I really enjoyed this book. It was very emotional. Poppy is a very strong women who is trying to find her way forward. Cole is a cop who was there for the worst moment in Poppy's life, now 5 years later they meet again. I loved that this book was mature, low on useless drama and even though it was emotionally hard, it was still fun and sweet too! I'm jumping right into book 2!

The narration was good with DUAL POV narration.

Her best

Her best book as far as I'm am concerned. Narration could have been a bit better on the males narration piece, at times it felt like he was narrating "American Justice".

I savored this story. I had so many emotions. The voice actors did an amazing job bringing it to life.

Great story!

Loved the storyline and characters. The ONLY negative thing I can say is the male narrator’s pace was so slow I sometimes had to increase the speed a little during his parts. But other than that it’s phenomenal!

Slow Burn Feel!

I love this author and this book did not let me down. I loved the build up of the relationship, however there were moments when the h drove me a little crazy. This was such a sweet love story and the side characters were great. The narration was spot on and I enjoyed the performance. Don't pass this one up!!!!

Devney Perry surprised me with this friends-to-lovers story. Although Poppy suffered a loss that nobody should have to, she endures it and comes out on the other side of the tragedy a stronger, perceptive, caring person in spite of her vulnerability. Cole! Well what can I say about Cole? Cole sure knows how to deliver a Slow Burn! He has the patience of a Saint, and really knows how to cherish HIS woman! Cole knew exactly what he wanted from Poppy and never deviated from attaining it!This was an INCREDIBLE story. Melissa Moran’s narration was Spot On! The emotions she brought to Poppy allowed you to feel the ups and downs she experienced while dealing with her heartache. Jeremy York’s narration was great as always! His voice was perfect for Cole and relayed the depth of emotions he harbored for Poppy. I loved it!🥰😍🥰

Too much filler

I liked the story theme but I felt the story just wasn’t put together well.

amazing story

I really enjoyed this one. I had several "grab a tissue" moments but also plenty of smiles and even some giggles escaped.
