I’ve listened to many alcohol related books but this one made me think about it differently. I often do 90 days free and when I hit booze again for a holiday or social event I wish I hadn’t and want to be able to say I DONT DRINK ANYMORE and now I just might so it !

Great Listen

I downloaded this book after listening to a podcast with Dr Chattergee and Andy Ramage and the description of ‘middle lane drinkers’ resonated immediately. I have never thought about what I was doing to myself with this social habit that I’ve grown up with And I’ve never even considered stopping for any period of time. Today I’m 60 days alcohol free and listening to this book has been one the biggest motivators. There’s loads more support you can tap into outside of the book but so far I’ve not needed it. I feel great and have loads of tools to support me if I have a blip, or find myself in a situation where I might find it difficult to decline the offer of a drink . Great book and would recommend to anyone who enjoys a regular drink, loves opening a bottle of wine or grabbing a beer to relax after work, celebrate, commiserate etc I feel like I’m at the start of a really healthy change to my lifestyle. Thanks to this book!
