Summary

Trapped by family matters, Zen seeks a new life with someone else. A place to be free.

Love is his only option.

Zen is the heir to his father’s mafia throne. Lost in a sea of back-alley politics, Zen wants nothing more than to escape with his head in one piece - and his heart. A sugar-daddy dating app falls into his lap, offering him a way to run and find that special someone.

Gabriel knows when to hold ’em, knows when to fold ’em, and he’s an expert at running - from everything. He’s the last person in the world that wants to get tied down to a serious relationship, but when his best friend invests in Almega’s dating service, he has to admit it’d be nice to have someone made for him...for a little while.

Will Zen escape to a law-abiding life? Will Gabriel find love when he’s not looking?

Find out in Sweet Surrender, a gay mpreg romance audiobook. We guarantee no cheating and a happily-ever-after ending! This audiobook and every other audiobook in the series can be listened to in any order.

Another great book in this series

I was hooked from the beginning to the end of this book! It is full of angst, with lots of up's and downs. Poor Zen is an omega who's Alpha godfather daddy and his 2 alpha brothers treat him like he is garbage and worth nothing at all. I so wished that I could slap the living you know what out of his daddy a couple of times the way he treated poor Zen. He ends up just tossing Zen over to one of his mafia cronies who he owes lots of money too because of gambling debts. Zen manages to escapes and runs off to New York. Meanwhile we meet Gabe a well to do caring alpha, I don't want to spoil anymore; but all I will say is that this is a really good book full of twists and turns and deserves your undivided attention and you will not be disappointed. Also, Mr. Chambers narration is very enjoyable. Sweet Surrender is a wonderful addition to this series and compliments the first 3 books very well! An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

Omega Rescue

Zen is the only omega in a mafia family. His family only sees him as someone they can use to get money. Gabriel is in Las Vegas on vacation. He meets Zen’s older brother, but doesn’t really get to talk to Zen.The day finally comes, when Zen’s family sees a way to basically sell him. Zen makes a break for it. He runs to the airport and takes a plane to New York. When Zen gets to New York, he meets Cieran. Cieran works for Almega, a dating agency. He talk Zen into setting up his profile in hopes of meeting a rich alpha. Fate steps in and matches Zen with Gabriel. They get along great until Zen’s family tracks him down. The resolution of the conflict is so well done. There are some tense moments, but all is well in the end. Austin has given us another wonderful story in this series. Gary Chambers was a wonderful narrator. Spend a lovely afternoon listening to Sweet Surrender. You’ll thank yourself over and over again.

Short and sweet

This one in the series followed a little bit of a different twist on the alpha and omega world. The story was sweet and a pretty quick listen. Chambers, for me personally, was a bit inconsistent with the voices and accents which distracted from the actual story. Overall an ok listen.

Fun

This installment of the series has Zen who so far is my favorite...I loved the dynamic of being clueless about money yet worldly about people. Must listen for omega fans.

Zen

This was a fast moving story and I enjoyed this audio immensely. The story had an intrigue that gave a twist to the dating service a little mystery.
I'm looking forward to listening to the next book.

A great story to listen to

I very much enjoyed this story. It dealt with a Russian mob family that tries to run Las Vegas, but finds they have some trouble of their own. Not only is one member an omega but another one has a serious gambling problem. Those gambling problems are what causes Zev to be sold off to another mob family.

Zev has lead a very sheltered life, but he suddenly finds his life is about to change so he makes a run for it and finds himself in New York City. He is be friended by a man who hooks him up with an Alpha dating service and he meets the man of his dreams, Gabe, who he has met both in Las Vegas and at the airport.

Can Gabe and Zev find a happily ever after? Or will Zev's family find him?
