About this listen

Captain Keyes is loved by the public but hated by Command. He captains the UHS Providence, an aging supercarrier and the last human ship not dependent on dark tech - technology humanity has used to rule over the galaxy since barely defeating the Ixa in the First Galactic War.

well narrated, brings the story to life. read the book first and loved it and listening has only reinforced that opinion. can't wait to get the next one.

Read the eBook loved it so much that I got the audio edition to and it came to life with the great voice actor in Mark Boyett I do recommend this title from Scott Bartlett , so go on what you waiting for go loose yourself in a good book.

If the next two books are as good then this will be an excellent triolgy.

As with most narrated books it has taken me quite a few goes to finish it, I find them quite soporific.

The story is well told and the characterisation is great.

No doubt the next two will follow, though I have several other titles to listen to first.

I found it hard to get into in the beginning, but I'm very happy i stuck it out. Fantastic book. Narrated superbly, as usual by Mark Boyett. Can't wait to start the second book.
