The definition of woowoo

Not useful. Very cliché. I don't understand why she is so famous. Do people think she is related to Tony Robbins or something? Now I have to figure out how to delete podcasts from Audible...

Great if you are young!

I think this book is aimed at the young , I think if you are under 40 it would be very helpful . However if you are near retirement age it tells you how you have missed out and where you went wrong in life , Thank you

Terrible

Somehow persevered to no. 7 then gave up. All I'd heard by this point was her stating the obvious and sometimes things that aren't even correct, giving herself some talking therapy and in the end gloating about what she's achieved and others can't. Thanks. Really motivational.

Missing 3 episodes

I love MR. I downloaded this book but I am missing the first three episodes (1, 2 and 3). Has anyone faced the same issue? How do I get the first three missing episodes? Thanks

Good way to start the day

I listened to this on my morning walk, have heard of Mel but never read anything before. To the point, easy to understand and good advice. Some chapters will be more relevant than others, I particularly enjoyed the career chapter. Definitely recommend

Quick Kick Ass Motivation by Mel!

I am thrilled to be the first to review Start Here! As a long time fan of Mel Robbins, Start Here is exceptional. These sessions are the powerful motivation grounded in scientific research that Mel is known for packaged in a 30 min format. These sessions are great for first thing in the morning or throughout the day for an energy reset. The content focuses on areas of life that often present challenges (Friendships, Careers, etc.). Thank you, Audible, for quality content that's included free with the membership!

The hardest part is getting started

Mel says at the beginning of this, the reason she made this series is because the hardest part is getting started. I know that to be true and I'm so glad she made this. I'm a big Mel Robbins fan, I love how she gives actually real advice that you can do, no fluff, so when I saw her post about this I downloaded it right away. I love the short format. It makes it easy to listen to whichever episodes resonate with you, they really could go in any order. I like that because I know I'll go back to some. There's a big variety of topics, and honestly some didn't resonate as much with me, I don't have any issues with emotional eating or sleeping, but I like that Mel did so many topics because that seems like the point, they can help everyone. I bet others will find the one on emotional eating really helpful. My favorite topics so far are happiness and career. I love how the advice is so simple but things I can actually do. Frankly I've been in a bit of a rut lately and this is exactly what I needed. I wish I could have Mel coach me, but this is the next best thing, because the advice feels like it's exactly what I need to hear. It's all stuff we can do easily from home. I'm still working through the episodes so I can't wait for what's in the upcoming ones (and I hope Mel releases more of these). I know I will be recommending this to people in my life. I like that it's included on Audible and not a credit. Also, I've listened to all of mel's other books, if you also have - this content is all totally different which I appreciate. Thanks again Mel for always putting out the best stuff!

Forced to watch her speak.

This woman is ridiculous. I was attending a tech conference packed full of useful classes & education when this happened. I was trapped in a room listening to self help nonsense from some stranger in a blue pantsuit. In Oprah style, the book she was hocking was under the seat. 30 minutes in I politely gathered my things to go do real work & was told I could not leave.

What? *Laughs in fucc this* It's a tech conference, not a yoga retreat weekend. I left.

If you need common sense or bad, vague advice, enjoy. ( Or check your horoscope. Just about as useful & flakey.)

Mel Robbins amazing as always!

BUT the fact that this doesn’t automatically jump to next episode nearly drove me batty, & I might not listen to anything put out in this format again.
