The inappropriate relationships with servants were too irritating and distracted from the story. The narrator did a very good job but the material wasn't up to his standard.

I’m sorry but I found the narration quite off putting .I carried on with it it but it was difficult to get passed all the put on accents and men very rarely do women’s voices well and definitely not children’s voices , yet I have listened to this narrator before and enjoyed his story telling .

Truly amazing how the author tell such wonderful stories- but also brings back characters from previous parts - to link the various parts together…

The narrator makes the whole series an adventure- simply wonderful…

I liked the story and have enjoyed all the Mary Jo Putney books I've read or listened to.
I did not enjoy this narrator: the tone seemed overly pompous or as if the characters were in a pantomime.
