About this listen
After a close friend's apparent suicide, Christopher Cornwell receives several photos the friend mailed prior to his death. Cornwell subsequently discovers by chance the presence in one of the photos of Lee Harvey Oswald, the alleged assassin of President Kennedy. But how could Oswald be photographed in a small Hertfordshire market town when he was supposed to be living in Russia as a defector at the same time?
As Cornwell investigates the story behind the photos he unknowingly becomes the target of an investigation himself, by a shadowy agency as determined to maintain its secrets now as in 1963.
Anthony Frewin was born in London and lives in Hertfordshire. He was assistant film director to Stanley Kubrick for over 20 years. He has written three novels, London Blues, Sixty-Three Closure and Scorpion Rising.

Immersive tale that creeps along at a snail’s pace but creates a thoroughly convincing world. Unlike the protagonist, we know it’s going to end badly but it’s fascinating finding out how far his investigation gets.
Amazing narrator. It would have been a much lesser book without him.
Not perfect but I loved it

Could have been better

Would you consider the audio edition of Sixty-Three Closure to be better than the print version?
A clever piece of fiction(?) that sets the mind on a course of inner questioningWhat other book might you compare Sixty-Three Closure to, and why?
this story concept was completely new to me, and though read some time ago still has me questioning in an unsettled way. What does Paul Thornley bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Paul has a fine repertoire of voices and together with intonations one finds it hard not to recognise them all as the one voice .If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
A good storyline for a book does not always make a good film!Any additional comments?
A Frewin writes with a lot of skill, I would like to know about any other books he has written.A truth yet to be believed.

I'd never listened to any by the author previously - all those wasted years!
Well-written, twisty-turny plot, good believable narration.
An excellent listen.
Great listen
