Of course, they have heard the rumours of beastmen lurking in the Drakwald, but there is far more to the story than they could have imagined. The malignant forces of Chaos are at work, and Gotrek and Felix find themselves battling not only for their honour, but also for the very future of the Empire itself.

Great continuation of the story as expected. Leads on nicely to the next book

Good story and funny, as most are of this series.
Another good part of the Gotrex and Felix series. Not the best one but very good and entertaining. Very good narrator.

Keeble's character voices are amazing

Love Johnathan Keeble he’s great at the voices I will only be sad when we run out of books as the warhammer world comes to such a rubbish abrupt end but I hope it’ll make a resurgence

Another banger
The development really kicks in the later gotrek books you can feel the end times coming and the fact Gotrek and co keep doing their best no matter how dark it gets, it is sad deep down knowing what happens but hearing the performance still makes you latch onto hope. Another cracking book.
