4 stars for story / 5 stars for performance

I am really loving this series. This group of single dads are amazing characters and provide the best book boyfriends. This time we get to follow Henley and Tru. While the romance between the two feels organic, the storyline provides so many speed bumps along the way, my interest never wavered and I still felt like I was hanging on every word. Henley’s girls were adorable and his relationship with his ex-wife was amazing and beautiful to read. This story felt like so much more than a typical romance, it was a great family story as well.

The narrators were outstanding!! Both did an amazing job voicing multiple characters and I had no issue listening to this for hours at a time. There were such a wide range of emotions through this story and each narrator performed them flawlessly bringing such life to this audiobook!

This is the second book in The Single Dad Playbook Series, a small town romance. I loved it! Henley and Tru's story is beautifully written, sweet, and engaging. I liked the friendship in the story. Sebastian York and Savannah Peachwood did an excellent job bringing these characters, and this story to life. This is a beautiful single dad romance. I enjoyed it.

What a swoony and emotional romance.
I absolutely love Henley, he is such a swoony, sweet, and loving guy. I love how much he loves his girls, and puts them first.
I am so here for the chemistry and passion between Henley & Tru. They are so sweet together, I love their openness & honesty.
This was full of banter, friendship, passion, love, empathy, emotions, heartache and hope.
I can’t wait for book 2.
Sebastian York & Savannah Peachwood both did such a great job narrating this story.

Hooked from chapter one. Love this world and all the characters. I was grinning through so many of the single dad interactions. I related to so many things in this story and had me all up in my feelings. It was an amazing read. Highly recommend it.
