I really loved this audiobook! It totally made sense to me because it explains exactly how I’ve been feeling. I have been so tired, and drained for some time now and I just keep pushing my self more. Frustrated that I am blah- when I have so much I want to get done. This book teaches that burnout isn’t laziness, that it’s my body telling me to take better care of myself and make some changes.
The part that really helped me was the energy audit—tracking my energy for a week gave me so much insight into my patterns. I feel like I finally understand why just resting hasn’t been enough and how to shift my habits to actually feel better. I have started to put some of these ideas into practice and I am noticing a difference. I do want to be healthier physically as well as mentally and this book was full of insights. .
