About this listen
Bran returns to Vein City to find Gloria jealous that he came back with Nyx and Circe. While trying to solve that, Vincent becomes even pushier about entering the Vault.
When going to open it, Bran discovers that this life has changed yet again. For whatever reason, they had gotten perilously close to cracking the Vault on their own and drawing all the future heroes of the First Demon War in a demonic trap.
It's up to Bran to make sure they all make it out alive while reaping as much reward as he can from the Vault.
but story wise while we can I noticed that this one is the weakest of them. I don't think I'll get the next one unless the issues are fixed.
Partly due to the power of MC and Just the stakes
this is the big issue with the returner Genre, if people get bored of your hero they stop caring about your world because they have to act otherwise the same events happen. so the slog must continue as MC is now so OP.
4/5 is fair in this area as I'm still unsure if this is the intent of the Audio book, if it's not then it's the writing that felt off and the communication during the area of 10-28? ISH chapter mark in this book.
that being said the voice actors were great though out all the 3 books all lasted 15ish hours of which is more than great. while I Only have 1 main complaint with how the one character is voiced and portrayed in this 3rd book just feels like there's an edge to that voice, just feels like a honey trap type voice instead of the crazy type and whilst you where expecting something to happen nothing did so kinda left you expecting something that shouldn't really be thought over which is ok until it's slowly wears on you as the novelty wears off and the novel drags.
weakest of 3 but I'll wait for 4 to see if the book is worth it
