Summary

this one was fun but we don't get a huge amount of progress compared to Bruce's other series. this one feels a little less refined with plot threats raised then left hanging. the book feels like it should be longer, hinting at crafter's being kidnapped in the last few pages. the start is yet another timesink instance story which is basically a way to get two more harem members but feels rushed. the princess seems to go from murderous to almost tricking her way in at one point. as if she had a master plan but it's not touched on. Gloria once more is pretty ignored for most of the book,

and the meta plot barely moves forward at all and feels like the main character is being countered every move he makes, negating his supposed skills. in combat he's still fine but this series isn't Bruce at his best I feel. it's still good but not as tight as ARDS Oath or Dragons Justice .

fun but the series is a bit slow burn

I've loved this entire serie, but this book I disliked. MC is suddenly a just a memory and useless. Yeah, I start skipping when that happened. Hopefully next book is better.
