Summary
Levi Walker reached Taryl after a real bad day at college. An angry walk in the rain led to Truck-Kun and a quick trip to reincarnation. If dying wasn't bad enough, Levi wasn't off the hook for his higher education.
Reborn on Taryl and sent to the Academy, Levi is expected to learn how to wield powerful magics. A glitch in the Reincarnation Network has left him with a new body and no idea what’s going on. He’s been told he has great magical potential, but no one is sure what kind.
Now Levi has to accept magic is real, mana vapor makes airships fly and “Horrors” from another dimension feed on unsuspecting victims. If that’s not bad enough, he still has to do homework.
Fortunately, Levi has always been a quick study.

When are Audiobooks 2 - 3 out? Can't wait!
One minor " and hopefully constructive" criticism after listening to this and reading books 1 and 2. names are used too frequently to show which characters are doing what. After the first time they are introduced in a scene we understand that they are there. more variation in the way characters are announced would make the prose flow nicer. Take Tawny for example. one could use Tawny, her, she, they (refering to a singular person), The Dark Elf, Miss Goldenrod, His Second, Teach/er, House Mistress, The Raven, Etc.

An interesting and different academy story
I have received this free copy for an honest review. This story has quite the interesting start and setting, while drawing inspiration from some it is also quite different and an otheworldy story. The main is a good guy but also has to learn and adpts well into not letting anyone pass over him. He has hidden power from his unusual entry and he has to learn to use it as it seems he will really need it. The narration is clear, easy to undertand full of life for each character.

Fun and engaging
A refreshing twist on the generic Isekai trope. lots of fun. protagonist could do with more sarcasm to his wit.

A great start to a wizard school harem series
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.
Genre: Isekai harem where MC is transported to a wizard school with houses
Power dynamics in harem: The MC is in charge, the girls are fully dedicated to him.
Explicit/adult material: Explicit. Well written.
Summary:
Levi is having a terrible day. And then a bus hits him and he dies. To his surprise he wakes up. And to his further surprise he has been reincarnated in a new body in a wizard school.
Levi shows early talent for beast taming and soon has a few magical beasts of his own. His powers and good heart are extraordinary so he catches the notice of a few beautiful female wizards at the school and before long he finds himself in the center of a devoted harem.
Narrators
Voice diversity: Characters have their own easily followed voices.
Pacing and intonation: The best part. Pacing and intonation supports the writing perfectly and emerges you completely in the story.
Sex scenes: Well done.
Jonathan Waters and Katana Jones are expert narrators and it shows.
Overall: 4,5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths.
- I am a sucker for pets. They are used well, have personalities and are important characters. I can't wait to see how they grow.
- I enjoy the magic school setting. And it is well done here. With small references to popularly known schools, but largely doing it's own thing.
- I love the hints at politics in the world at large.
- The narration
The book’s weaknesses.
- I would love even more focus diverted to flesh out the personalities of the girls. They are not as flat as they can be in some stories, but the meatier the better.
Overall: 4.5/5 stars
