The programme works, pity about the audio

First of all, I definitely recommend this programme. It has worked for me (so far). I always felt a sense of deprivation at the idea of stopping smoking. I'm two weeks in and now I genuinely don't think about it at all, even when my boyfriend is smoking. I'm going to continue with the daily routine for another little bit.

The only issue is this digital reproduction. The hypnosis disc specifically uses stereo, with separate tracks sometimes being broadcast simultaneously in each ear. This download, for some reason, has been encoded in mono so it's just not the intended product as far as I'm concerned.

OMG. It really works.

What did you like most about Quit Smoking Today?

Trust me, this works. I listened to it before going to sleep, woke up in the morning with NO CRAVINGS at all. Day 3 today and feeling great. I already realise it's essential to listen to the mind control programme section every day for as long as stated, to fully finish the 'treatment'

haven't had a cigarette in 10 weeks

I was dubious but really wanted to quit. this helped give me the boost I needed. I followed the instructions, listened every night and continue to use one chapter as a boost occassionally.

Would you listen to Quit Smoking Today again? Why?

Definetly. Haven't even thought about smoking one cigarette since listening, some of his stories can be a little long but all in all it worked!! Its easy to get your head around and find the right chapters etc over and over. The reading is clear and relaxed

I Am Now A Non-Smoker

It worked for me. I had been a smoker for many years and I knew it would be extremely difficult to stop smoking. I knew I could rely on Paul McKenna to help me through the difficult time of quitting smoking.

It works!

I cannot tell you why it works but it does. And you don’t even need to expend any effort. You just don’t smoke. No vaping, no patches, no gum - just cold turkey but with no side effects - no cravings, not even thinking about smoking. So, I’m a habitual smoker of many years and had often tried to stop using vaping and gum and had often done quite well until I thought I’d be OK having the occasional one and hey presto I was back to square one. I listened to Paul McKenna once and everything changed - I know I will never smoke another cigarette, ever. I’m 3 weeks without one as of today so thought it was now safe to let you know - listen to this audio, listen to the mind programming chapter each day for 2 weeks, and occasionally top that up with listening to the whole thing and you too will be a non smoker and will be incredulous how easy and pain-free it was. And, like me, you will feel this huge weight off your shoulders to have finally beaten off this dirty, unhealthy habit.

Worked for me after listening just once - Amazing!

I only used to smoke about 5 cigarettes a day and usually in the evening. This audio book helped me to identify WHY I was smoking and swapped my positive beliefs about smoking with negative ones. One particular exercise I did nearly made me vomit it was so awful however it completely stopped my need for a cigarette just as the audiobook said it would so I guess I can say it worked. Paul Mckenna is an excellent therapist and hypnosis DOES work. The other good thing about these audio books is you can listen over and over and over again.The craving reducer exercise is brilliant and takes minutes. That's all. Thank you Paul and Thank you Audible. I'm now a non smoker. xx

brilliant became a non smoker in no time at all

thought it was great got through the cds within a few days and was a non smoker within a week delighted with it also it workered for my partner too we did it together.

Initially a waste of money, but now not so sure!

Initially I found this audio a waste of money, listened to it every night before sleep for a week but found it very repetitive and Paul McKenna can be irritating!! HOWEVER... I have been a smoker on and off for most of my life since the age of 15, (only off when pregnant) and tried many times to quit for good. I have been smoke free now for 1 month and 5 days, I don't know what changed or even if the audio book had anything to do with it, but something has clicked in my head and I don't want to smoke anymore, I don't even really think about smoking now which is miraculous for me!! Extremely pleased and will never go back to being a smoker, why would anybody!

It makes sense and it works

The replacements of triggers and imaginary positive/negative reinforcement techniques have been proven effective, glad to see it's applied in quitting smoking.

Copying Carr and lot of nonsense

first chapters are a copy of Allan Carr's easy way (even some specific examples!) unbelievable.
The last technique to cope with craving makes u feel like he's just explicitly telling you that he's taking the piss. Cravings last a few minutes he just makes u hum happy birthday and other nonsense to pretend he's doing something but is just passing the time
