Summary

Wow this book was not what I was expecting at all, but in such a good way. If you looking for hokey romance with an extra twist, that take 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ to a whole new level, then look no further… loved it

This was such a beautiful story. Loved this, the narrators do a brilliant job of bringing this story to life. Loved everything about this and will be adding to favourites pile to be listen to again and again

Can I be adopted by the Price Family?
I have officially entered my Emily Rath era!
You all know how much a love a hockey romance and lets be honest I love a why choose too so when they come together in 700+ pages of deliciousness I am so here for it!
All of the characters have such fabulous dynamics and I really enjoyed their stories arcs both as individuals, within the identified couples and as a wider unit.
Plus the spice was on fire!!! give me all of it!
Amy, Alex and Ash did such a wonderful job in bring all these characters and their dynamics to life. It was like being a fly on the wall!

Voices let it down
Loved the story and the characters, lots of spice and you really get your credits worth for how long it is. But I felt like only having two male VAs whilst there were three male MCs really let the book down and was a bit of a cop out. Especially since there wasn't even a difference in the voice used for both guys. I would have loved for Jake and Caleb to have their own unique voices and not sound exactly the same. For me it ruined their characters a little bit.

Unexpected Twists & a whole lot of 🌶️🌶️
Although I liked the storyline, I felt that the voices were a tad confusing given there were only 2 males and I found the parts where the males read over Rachel’s lines as they try to “mimic” a girly tone, super awkward and annoying. I would have preferred those lines actually being read by the female. Other than that I enjoyed the fact that all readers acted out their lines rather than sounding robotic.
