Okay, first things first: This is really hot.
However, if I ever med a medical professional who talked and behaved like Rachel Price, I would run the other way - the woman is so f'ing dumb. She has a lot of monologues that are, I assume, meant to make her seem smart and strong, but they give me so much secondhand embarrassment, they are so unnatural and weirdly written. Also, what's with inserting astrology at the weirdest possible places? it feels really forced.

I like all of the men, they aren't written as annoying as Rachel, luckily. I probably would dnf if they were.

The male narrators are pretty good, I love the voice of C and J, the female narration is very monotonous, and it probably doesn't help with my impression of the FMC.

TL;DR: The book is hot, but not very well written, the FMCs character doesn't live up to what the author thinks we should believe about her. If you listen to it for the smut you'll probably like it. If you listen to it for character development and plot you'll be disappointed.

I was enjoying this book, especially the first half but I felt as though it became too overwhelming. I haven't finished it and I also feel no way about finishing it either. For all I know, it finished once she forgave the main guy at the beginning.

Loved the story and the characters, lots of spice and you really get your credits worth for how long it is. But I felt like only having two male VAs whilst there were three male MCs really let the book down and was a bit of a cop out. Especially since there wasn't even a difference in the voice used for both guys. I would have loved for Jake and Caleb to have their own unique voices and not sound exactly the same. For me it ruined their characters a little bit.

Although I liked the storyline, I felt that the voices were a tad confusing given there were only 2 males and I found the parts where the males read over Rachel’s lines as they try to “mimic” a girly tone, super awkward and annoying. I would have preferred those lines actually being read by the female. Other than that I enjoyed the fact that all readers acted out their lines rather than sounding robotic.

This was such a beautiful story. Loved this, the narrators do a brilliant job of bringing this story to life. Loved everything about this and will be adding to favourites pile to be listen to again and again
