About this listen

A starship lost. A creator found. A frantic race to save them both.

For Colonel Mitchell "Ares" Williams, there is no giving up. There is no going back. The Goliath may have fallen into enemy hands, but the war must go on.

After all, he and the Riggers have what they need to locate the Creator, the man responsible for the alien threat and the key to unraveling their unstoppable attack. All they have to do is get to him before the Tetron do.

It's no easy task, but nothing about the war has ever been easy, and the Riggers still have a few tricks left up their sleeves.

Great story full of twist and interesting ideas. Shame the main character spends most of his time letching over every woman he comes across, probably could have saved humanity in 2 books if he kept focused.

Good Story, Shame the Hero is a Letch

I did really enjoy this as a series, but there were just a couple of things in this that tripped me up as a reader and I really would have preferred that M. R. Forbes take this a diff way, but it is what it is, it's still very good writing. If not a little predictable.

I wish Mitch was a little bit more sorry and knowingly sorry that he lost Millie, it seems one min he's grieving and then the next he's wanting to sex up the nearest woman again, I'd have much preferred in this that he actually did grieve as a character, that he did turn the advances away, not be the one constantly thinking about his sex drive...

I wish that they'd had a little time to warn Earth, to be on the defensive, to win something... not for Mitch to have to sacrifice everything along the way, it seems so so bad. The enemy is always one step ahead, and that really sucks.

However, other than that, there were some great defining moments in here and I really do hope that Jeffery gets to narrate the next one, or it might be a long time till I get to read it.

Thanks to you both for an awesome ride. I've enjoyed it, I've had goosebumps, I've had tears in my eyes! and love in my heart. More please....

:)

Excellent end to my week!
