Really enjoyed this especially the devious Watson

Watson keeps returning like a proper nemesis and messing up the teams plans to get rid of him for good ... good series of books .. looking for similar stories to pass the quiet hrs .

Bit of a lame end to otherwise good series

Any additional comments?

If you have got this far in the series yourself, then its worth continuing for closure. I really liked the previous books but I wished the author had taken a different tact with the ending.

The next part of this review in might be considered a spoiler - although there are no details, it gives a sense as to how the story progresses - so please stop reading if you want to experience the book in its pure form. Happy reading :)

Anyway, having got this far in the series, my expectation for a good and clever resolution to the saga was high (again which is probably why I was disappointed).

My problem is that the 'enemy' always seemed one step ahead of anything our heroes could do, resulting in a continual stream of false victories and bouts of hopelessness. That's fine in itself, and actually makes you eager to find out how the tables get turned.

Unfortunately the frustration just continues all the way right to the end when the final resolution just comes down to what I would regard as pure luck.
Some might like this, and if the author is after some irony in this then fine - but for me it was not very satisfying and the closure just seemed rushed.

A superb end to a truly awesome story enjoyed every minute, it's been a half a year long adventure through space for me and this did not disappoint.

Not as good as previous entries in the series

I like the author, and I like a lot of his writing, but the series ending feels a bit like the last season of Lost. It falls apart at the end.

The last half of this book felt tortured and forced.

another great tale!

Yet another successful story line from Forbes.

I love how different every series is, it leaves me not knowing what to expect and I look for that in every book I read.

if you got this far you might as well jump in.

narrator was great in the others but not in this one. he probably new the ending. which was like someone coming into the room and saying hey guys wrap this up I got a dentist appointment to get to. But truthfully I really liked this book up to halfway through chapter 51. i probably will not be reading any more from this author after this.
