About this listen

A spicy Pro Football, Best Friend’s Brother, Marriage of Convenience Romance from Amazon Top Ten Bestselling author Lisa Suzanne.

I was supposed to get married on national television.

Instead, I was humiliated at the altar and ran straight into bad boy pro football star Dex Bradley. Literally.

He’s my best friend’s grumpy older brother, and he needs a nanny for his surprise baby. I need to salvage my dignity.

One fake marriage later, we’ve got a deal.

It’s supposed to be strictly business. He’s off-limits.

But when he growls my name and looks at me like he wants to wreck what’s left of my innocence, I don’t want to be the good girl anymore.

He thinks I’m helping him. Between late-night feedings and very inappropriate thoughts, I think I’m the one in trouble.

We agreed to play fake to benefit us both, but now I’m in his bed, in too deep, and one step away from losing everything.

Format: Audiobook - Dual narration by Sean Masters and Vanessa Vasquez
Standalone: Interconnected Standalone (The Bradley Legacy Book 2)
Tropes: Sports ( Football), Single Dad/Surprise Baby, Forced Proximity, Marriage of Convenience

Lisa Suzanne writes the best characters!! I really appreciate how they have real world reactions and relatable feelings when faced with things like an unexpected child showing up out of the blue or your husband looking cozy in pics with super models. This world is so cozy and we get to check in with so many previous characters. I love knowing we’ll probably get to check in with this little family in the future.

This audio was amazing. Both narrators did amazingly well with the dual style narration. I was locked in and listened to this one in under 12 hours. Un-pausable listen!!

Lisa Suzanne pens another fabulous romance novel, putting her own unique spin on the best friend’s brother, nanny/single dad and marriage of convenience tropes. The story draws you in right from the start, captivates your attention the entire time and tugs at your heartstrings too. This second book in “The Bradley Legacy” series is Dex Bradley and Ainsley Riggs’ story, and it starts off with Ainsley running away from her reality show and running into Dex who is trying to clear his head after finding out he has a son. Dex did not recognize her at first, so she had to remind that she was his younger sister’s best friend. Ainsley did not want to leave Vegas, but she would have to find a job and a place to live, something Dex has, since he will need help with his new infant son, Jack. Dex, a pro-football player, starts a new season soon, so he wants everything squared away before that. He and Ainsley click, and deciding a fake marriage would be beneficial to both their images, they decide to go that route. There is an undeniable chemistry between them, and despite their age difference, it does not take long for them to give in. Ainsley, who should have been off-limits to him, brings out the good in him, but his father and his schemes complicate matters for him and for his relationship with Ainsley. There are no dull moments in this book, a story with multiple layers, non-stop drama, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. As always, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Lisa Suzanne, thank you for another fantastic story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Sean Masters and Vanessa Vasquez were fantastic at voicing these characters, humanizing them with their personalities and their emotions. Vasquez did not hold back showcasing Ainsley’s insecurities or her fierceness and determination, and she was a natural with bringing out her caring side, too. Masters was just as amazing in Dex’s role, morphing as his character grows, from a broody grump to a caring dad and lover. Perfectly paired and cast, they’re captivating storytellers, and their gripping performance keeps you engaged.

We are quickly learning that the Bradley family HEA’s don’t come without a lot of drama. Family drama. Dex Bradley needs to grow up, find some responsibility and determine where his loyalties lie. He never expected to be thrust into it but that’s what happens when he is handed his 6 month old son. He’s gonna need all the help he can get, enter his little sister’s best friend, Ainsley. Her future plans just bombed in a big way and she needs to lie low for a bit. Ainsley & Jack are exactly what Dex needs to help him grow. The family he needs to be a better man. Their journey to HEA comes with the trickiest trope, miscommunication. Secrets & lies always end in disaster, but with parents like his is it any wonder why Jack leans into secrets? Watching Jack grow was very satisfying. He became a partner, a devoted dad and a lovesick husband. Dex, Ainsley & Jack are the sweetest family package.

Sean Masters & Vanessa Vasquez were so fun in narration. Vanessa has such a unique tone and I loved how she portrayed Ainsley. Sean Masters is always so enjoyable to listen to. I really loved how he leaned into Dex’s volatile nature. You really felt when his emotions were overworked. Sean & Vanessa played off each other well to create a great audio experience.

Dex, Ainsley & Jack are the sweetest family package.

I am such a sucker for best friend’s brother and this one was so sweet & emotional.
I absolutely adore Dex, he is trying so hard in this new reality he finds himself in, even though he’s making mistakes, he realizes it and is absolutely swoony.

I love how their relationship grows from fake marriage/nanny to feelings, to falling hard. There’s a whirlwind of emotions from both of them, a lot of growth, some fun spicy banter & phenomenal chemistry.
I am so glad that Dex finally stood up to his dad before it was too late.
I can’t wait for the rest of this series, I adore the. Bradley siblings.

It's Dex's turn and this football player is in for the shock of his life. A baby, dropped to him before the mother has to go and now has to become a dad really quick. Luckily, he bumped into his little sister's friend Ainsley, just as she was running out a horribly gone wrong reality show. Since they are both in need, they team up to not only give his son a live in nanny but the spark ignited will let them show as a beautiful newlywed couple. The question is, will it be enough to truly grow and keep them together? This fantastic story is packed with all the feels, bringing family members in who are surprising in all ways and romance that warms the heart. I love Dex and the way he is with the baby and how he is both frustrating and lovable. Ainsley is quite the woman as she finds her true self with Dex. Loved this story and now can't wait for the next one!

Sean Masters and Vanessa Vasquez are the perfect team for this story. Masters plays Dex using his talent to make him the playboy gone dad. He lets him stumble and adds the vulnerability to him perfectly. Vazquez is Ainsley, and I loved her voice from the first scene! Her shock and pain was real and as she let her grow through the book, all the feels came through. These two are fantastic and this listen is perfection.

Dex & Ainsley!
