Summary

This bundle contains the following audiobooks:

One True Mate Five:

When it came to love, brash and blunt bad-boy Mac never had a chance. His brash and blunt true mate unlocked his heart and showed him all the errors of his ways.

One True Mate Six:

Bruin’s life as a bear is complicated: He idolizes wolves and is shunned by his own kind, but he takes it all in stride, never complaining, never returning the hate. When the sweetest true mate yet shows up, this sweetest bear around has to hide his growing attraction to her because she must belong to a wolf. She can't be his. No, never.

One True Mate Seven:

Harlan’s over it: life, the fight, the demon, KSRT, all of it. But life isn’t quite done with him. It wants to poke and prod at him just a bit more and remind him of everything he’s lost. In fact, his Eventine seems so close, so alive, he could almost believe she might come back to him....

One True Mate Eight:

Jaggar had accepted his fate, a life without love, because his beast was too wild and untamed to be safe; but when a true mate shows up who seems destined for him, his best friend does the unthinkable and kisses her, sending Jaggar reeling, rampaging, and running...until something calls him back.

Love the characters, but storyline dragged!

I originally listened to the bundle series book 1-4 and I must say, I really fell for the characters in the story, however I did feel the true mates were made to look weak, but I was willing to invest the time on books 5-8, because of the characters. Books 5 and 6 weren't too bad, as the story lines didn't drag on forever and we were able to hear about the characters after the characters had mated. Books 7 and 8 went way off track for me. The true mates were made to look weak and very indecisive to the point where it became annoying. The story about Jagger and Leilani was the worst, and having them connect 1 minute before the book ends, without giving us a glimpse into their happily ever after was a true disappointment.

I felt the narrator, Michael Pauley was very good and handled the voices and personalities amazingly. The stories have a great foundation, I just wish they don't go too off course, which they often do.

Lastly, because I really liked the characters, Trent and Troy, I am going to get both books and I am hoping they don't drag on and their mates don't appear to be weak, but rather strong with moxie, so that they compliment the strength of both men that were stuck in wolf form for years.

3 out of 4 books were great

So the book that should be Jaggar's story, book 8, is actually book 9, Troy's story. Book 7, Harlan's story was really hard for me to get through. Way too much backstory for me.

I am glad I stuck with it

I am glad I stuck with it after the first book that sounded like a robot was reading it. Book number five is my favorite so far especially because of the conversation between Bear and Mack parts, I was really laughing out loud!

I Enjoyed This Series Quite A Bit!

1st let me state I had NO TROUBLE w/ the narration!!!
I loved listing to this series and already purchased the next set!! The story as a whole is great , and each book will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat, or biting your nails!
Book 1 was my favorite we got introduced into the new world of one true mates ( that are part human part angel, shiften ( not called shifters in this story) who are like basically the same but the story adds a unique flare… then there is the evil threat to all living things called Cain… we also get the rest of the back story in the 1st book. I was definitely hooked after hearing book 1 & looked forward to book 2…

Book 2 was my least favorite the story itself was a good one, but in book 2 you will find yourself going through angst not do to fighting monsters but due to one HARD HEADED 2000 yr old dragon who will not trust himself w/ his own destined Mate… and literally up until the last chapter is ready to dump her off on another male, because he is sure he will hurt her… even though all the evidence proves she is MENT for him and Him ALONE! I wanted to smack him upside the head!!!

Book 3 was great… not nearly as many Angst but still there! Still exciting but it to me was the sweetest of the 4…it was a nice break from the others keeping me on the edge of my seat more often than not!

Book 4 definitely will keep you on the edge of your seat… but all due to danger!!! The meeting and relationship of the mates, was sweet! So it had the best of both worlds…

I tried not to give too much away in this review… I started this series completely blind and I’m happy for it… I hope my review helps! If you like paranormal romance, w/ a side of suspense!!! This series may be for you!!!!

Too Much

I love the characters in this series very much but after books 7 and eight I’m giving up. I don’t care anymore. In book 5, Rogue expressed so much antagonism and defiance, It made me ache. It’s a good thing that Mac enjoyed the abuse but it sure wasn’t fun for me. Book 6 was the only reason why I gave it two stars overall. Bruin really pulled his life together in this book that really was upbeat and entertaining. I even liked Rogue in this book when she became the cheerleader for Bruin and Willow. The Metaphysical components of books 7 and eight were just over the top. I literally felt like I was trudging through both books. And in fact did not finish book 8. The backstory in these two books were just too much. In book 7, the past backstory just kept going on and on and on. I ended up fast forwarding through a whole bunch of it. It was either doing that or having somebody shoot me. Book 8 was more of the same as book 7. It did give several teasing hints about Trent’s story so giving up on it will probably mean I’ll miss out on something, but I just can’t make myself continue. I may check the reviews for books 9 and 10, Troy and Trent’s story, but right now I don’t feel inspired to do so. Mr. Pauley’s Performance is the only bright spot in most of this whole bundle.

First 2 books were great!!

The first 2 books were great, but the second two not so much. Honestly I skipped through most of the 3rd book . Even though I did I still understood everything it really didn't need that much backstory and annoyance. The 4th book was good I really love the characters but it was a little slow. Only reason continuing with the series is because I love Trent and trey and want to find out what happens with their mates
