A Gripping New Twist To A Favourite Tale

Another Gripping New Twist To A Favourite Traditional Tale.

I really enjoyed this book. I am becoming a fan of the way Ms Blackstream takes traditional folk/fairy tales and makes them her own. This time it was Snow White that gets the Blackstream treatment!

I found this story very easy to read and get caught up in; the writing style was intelligent, the pace and plot development was well balanced, I enjoyed the twists and turns to the various mysteries woven throughout this (un) traditional paranormal romance tale.

I added the narration too and was impressed with Matt Addis' performance; the pace of his narration was just right and I enjoyed his vocal variances for the dialogue.

There is a background story arc that binds all of the Blood Prince books but each one can be read as a standalone romance.

Perfectly Entertaining!!!

The Reader did a WONDERFUL job! The voices, and inflections used were delightful.

Word of warning: if you have the Kindle E-Book for this title, the Audible Version DOES NOT match up verbatim. There are a LOT of differences. I had fun 'reading' along and noting the differences, but I am sure that there are many of my fellow readers that would find such undesirable.

Also, if you ARE 'reading' along...Chapter 12 has A LOT of 'extra' information that is NOT in the Kindle Version.

Bite into this one!

Snow White falling for vampire! Love it. Again this has all the key elements of our classic fairy tales, but with a sinfully wicked paranormal twist!

I am officially addicted to this series! I just downloaded the rest of the books. I want these books to be longer...I love them that much....perhaps a slower build to the story, but that is because I selfishly want more time with these characters in their kingdoms.

Worth a credit: YES!

Borderline Life Altering!

The narrator is spot on. this book (in text and in listening) gives you the rush of adrenalin in action, the dispair in trdgedy, and the giddiness in love that only shines through when a story transforms you into the pages. absolutely wonderful!.

Wow!

If you could sum up One Bite in three words, what would they be?

Emotional, adventurous, exciting.

What did you like best about this story?

A well formed world, culture, and characters are what make a good story great. What I like best about this book is getting pulled into a world and getting lost there.

Have you listened to any of Matt Addis’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. He has set the standard for me when it comes to listening to audiobooks. He gives each character their own voice and emotions while keeping descriptions neutral.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I truly wish I could.

Any additional comments?

I have read the written version of One Bite and reread the book regularly. However, listening to the Audible version is like experiencing the story for the first time. Well written and preformed, this is a book that is enjoyable every time. I recommend this book wholeheartedly!
