Story
From high school up until he became a successful attorney, Jacob Snowden was convinced that love had it out for him. "Everyone left" were the words he lived by. His mother, his high school sweetheart, his father, and his fiancé - they all left Jacob just when he felt it was safe to let down his guard. Not any longer. Jacob was a determined man, set at keeping people at a distance. If his six-foot-one, military-made body didn't scare people off, his permanent scowl surely did.

Smart men never dabble with demons. I never claimed to be smart, but at least, I’m powerful enough to control them. When I bound Havoc to me nearly 300 years ago, I never realized how difficult he’d make my life, although “accidentally” lighting him on fire every now and then does bring a smile to my face. Havoc is handsome, mysterious, and somehow, my closest companion, even if we don’t always get along.

Keyser Soze ?
- By C M Silver on 23-09-20
Summary
Atlanta's notorious narcotics task force is at it again. They are stronger, bigger, and better than ever. Especially when a city councilman sends RECON Marine Edwin Steele - who's been blacklisted from his Oakland department - to join the team.
Steele was ready to hang up his shield. He was done fighting with bigoted bastards that couldn't respect the job. He was good at fighting; he just needed the right team to fight with. When his uncle - City Councilman Rasmus Steele - shows him a video of God's team in action, he knows right away it's where his nephew belongs in order to restore his faith.
Steele was skeptical about his new placement, but when he meets God's technology specialist/computer genius, "Tech", he's willing to give it his all, and he definitely shows and proves.
Tech is stunning. His sweater vest and khakis, a stark contrast to the blue-jeaned roughnecks he works with. A beautiful sheep amongst the wolves. Steel thinks there's no way the brilliant man would be interested in a hardhead like him, but Tech has a few badass hidden talents of his own and manages to surprise him...surprise all of them.

I can't give enough stars!
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Aiden Snow is one of the top 3 narrators (so far) for me to follow and I hope to get a lot more books from him. And really, his SEXY and DEEP RUMBLING VOICE is something you DON'T want to miss!!
I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Fantastic Book!!!
Oh how I loved this book. The series just keeps growing and growing into something so special. While this book is focused on the relationship between Steele and Tech, it also brings back all the boys as well, to include the wedding of God and Day, sigh...I just love this pseudo family and all their love, humor and loyalty. Tech and Steele were a really adorable couple. Both strong and knowing they wanted each other from the start, fantastic relationship, sexy as all get out! The bonus short at the end with Gen and Curtis was fantastic! They are all grown up and the little glimpse into their adult relationship was fantastic!
Aiden Snow is an amazing narrator. His voice makes my toes curl in the best way. His narration is smooth and so very sexy, just spot on!!!

Nothing Special V
This book was formatted a lot differently than the previous books. It doesn’t just focus on the main couple but instead jumps around to all points of views from previous and current characters. I think this was pretty genius on the author’s part and exactly what we needed.
We get so see the drama and angst between God and Day, some random stuff around the other characters from previous books, as well as an appearance from some spin-off characters. And we get to see the smoking-hot connection being made between Tech and Steele. These two men were an unexpected pleasant surprise and they get down and dirty in the most delicious way. I loved this book.
Steele is a super-hot Ex Special Forces guy who has some serious baggage going on, and doesn’t really trust easily. I think I might have swooned a bit when he and Tech met for the first time, it was just that explosive.
Tech is awesome. He is a super smart computer/technical nerd, totally cute, and has been working hard at getting a place on the team, in the field, out from behind the computers.
Every part of this book and series has been amazing so far, and I have loved every minute of every book and I really need more of these men in my life. I can’t even count how many times I’ve re-read all of these books at this point.
Note: Make sure you read to the very end… You will get to see a small snippet for Curtis and Genesis.
Audio - What an absolutely fantastic addition. This audio was amazing. Aiden Snow did such a great job with all of these guys. I really enjoy listening to his voice. This was a pretty perfect narration.

Alpha Male Galore!
5 Blue Roses
5 Blue Flames
Narrator Aiden Snow delivered the 5th book in this series absolutely perfectly.
I swear, I think I might be biased. Please forgive me, but I'm besotted with this narrator. My objectivity may be a little tainted. My goodness,,, these mother fu@#ers could not sound any sexier. I loved Steele and Tech's story. On top of that, we have a wedding! And every wedding has a crazy bachelors party with a stripper.
No, I won't spoil it for you.
Every wedding has friends and family attending, so of course God's team will be there. The dialogues were fun and the voices were distinguishable, I don't expect anything less from my Aiden. 🥰🥰🥰
The banter and teasing is funny, and yet, it pulled me deeper into their world. I connected emotionally and I enjoy daydreaming and pondering if men like these could really exist. I wondered where they would hang out so I can implant myself in their circle friends.
There is an extra bonus chapter about Curtis and Genesis, we hear their story as well.
Chock-a-block! This was most definitely tons of hard work by the author.
Very- very well done!
O' if you still don't get it,,,, I do recommend this audiobook.
It is such a treat to hear these alpha males love, live and protect each other.
Happy Listening

IT ONLY GETS BETTER, HOTTER, AND MORE DELICIOUS!!!
Book V has a great bit of recap with "The Men," and the inevitable event between God & Day and, of course, the sweet introduction of couple #5! Ms. Via really shows & shares the strength of the female perspective (as she has all along), the tenderness and romance shining brightly in so many ways, in so many details.
Add to that her explicit explorations into male sexuality; unapologetically frank and detailed, leaving the listener breathless with Aiden Snow's rich narration! That deep, sexy voice could read from the dictionary any day of the week; I'd be a very happy, satisfied camper.
On to book 6.....

Just getting better and better!
I had to look to see where Estonia was located. Really enjoyed the book. Ok course Aiden just make it even better with that voice. The way these two are introduced to each other by ways of Tech being so excited on what he discovered about Steel. And not paying attention that he hitting on a trigger point. The new people who were introduced and how some more of the side characters are brought to the for front. Loved the bonus chapters. Good to get to hear from them and how their lives are going.

Wonderful alpha male goodness!
This is book five in the series and I don’t think it’d be great as a stand-alone. It technically could be, but OH MAN you’d have missed so much!
In fact, it’s best if you’ve read all the previous four including You Can See Me because there’s a part that involve Pres, Rick and Blair too! (OMG there’s a part with Blair and Furi…. Just OMG – and no – no cheating or anything like that but it’s HOT!)
What I love so much about this series is the juxtaposition between brains and brawn. All the guys, even Ruxs and Green are smart, sensitive but very manly men.
Tech is a great addition to the coupled up crowd. He’s so lonely at the beginning and it was wonderful to see him fall for Steele, pretty much right away and vice versa.
There’s a bit of strife in this but only a little with Steele and Tech, some for God and Day and some for Pres and his partners.
Almost as much about Tech and Steele, this is a book about God and Day so that’s why I say this is definitely best read in order. If you’re a fan of the series you’ll ADORE what’s in store for God and Day!
There’s also great stuff with all the guys! (The scene with Ruxs and Green in the morning – that’s some the stuff I love the most from the author!) AE Via always provides the feels with the smexy times and exciting action sequences as well.
I love how super hero ish they are and how they clean up modern day metropolis (Atlanta) but have to deal with paperwork after. At least nobody is fighting them anymore on the inside.
I think this is the best edited book I’ve seen from her as I found no noticeable typos etcetera. I also think it’s one of the better books in terms of writing, too.
I highly recommend this to fans of the series, and to any fans of alpha males, police romances and good, ol’ fashioned hot men gettin’ it on!
(I cannot wait for Free and Hart's story - I'm sure it's gonna be Hart, right? - it sounds amazing already!)

Delivers As Always!
I fell absolutely in love with these books! I've read all of them multiple times and I've pre-ordered book 4 and 5. I'm a very big fan of these books!!
