Its been a LONG wait to finally have the latest book in my favourite series, "Nothing Special".
Only to be disappointed!.
This one is nothing special.
This is my least favourite book.
Dual narration doesnt work.
Aiden Snow IS THE VOICE we know and love for this series. His voice is too distinctive to mix with another.
The two new characters were totally unsexy and unlikeable.
The premise of their involvement was unbelievable.
Their switch from estranged to reunited was unbelievably fast.
The discord between God & Day did not "feel" right either.
This wasn't Smokin as there was no Fire.

Enjoyable story that is well written with likeable characters and good world building. The narration is very good as well.

All I can say is hold out if you’re waiting for Aiden Snow.
It is not a duel narration so Sean does a great job of looking after our beloved characters. Sean covers the two new characters, Wes and Law, so voices all characters in those chapters they lead.

Aiden comes in when the chapter is led by God I.e. chapter 10 (is when you hear Aiden).

Aiden snow does appear!

So disappointed, really looking forward to this in audible, But several chapters in and only heard Sean Crisden and he is not for me . Such shame to Sideline Aiden Snow , who's voice really suited this series, and have come to expect. Such a mistake to change narrators in any series. I shall read this book instead.
