About this listen

Between the fall of man and the arrival of the JFK, the Horn of Africa is a battleground.

Salvation. Vengeance. Vanity.

Nemesis can be listened to as a standalone novel, as an intro to the series, or at any point alongside the main series.

Improved character building and a very well thought through storyline. However, the constant sycophantic writing about special forces is INCREDIBLY weary!!! The author needs to get real and understand the reality of people in these roles...gods they are not. Infallible they often are...do your research and give your books a sense or realism beyond comic book prose.

The best in the series

Well read as always by RC Bray, this fills in the gaps about what happened to Baxter and Zac after Genesis. It dovetails nicely with the main series at the end of the novel.

The Al Shabaab angle could have been portrayed as a little less black and white, to give a bit more depth- would it really be business as usual for both sides 18 months into the ZA? I hope not!

Nevertheless, this is an exciting story, despite there being very little zombie action, (the Zulu threat is sidelined by man's inhumanity to man!)

Recommend that you read Genesis first, then slot this in after Books 8 or 9!

An interesting sidebar to the main series!

I've listened to all of the Arisen series so far including Flood and can't get enough of it.

if you like zombies, action, zombies, fast pace, zombies, survival, zombies, fantastic story lines, zombies, too narration, zombies, occasional comedy, zombies, drama, zombies... you get the picture.

Great story line and definitely a candidate for a tv series. These audio books will hook you in and you'll be addicted. Not as much comedy as the Mountain Man books, but simply oustanding work.

Great character development and several stories intertwining with one another without loss of cohesion.

If you've not yet listened to any of the series I envy you as your in for a roĺler coaster of all out military mayhem zombie devastation... woohoo

yes I rather like these books :)

It's just not another zombie series....

Best book so far in the series. just as the story line was getting 'samey', a whole new story presents itself, from ground zero in Africa before catching up with the previous book. an extraordinary twist, new characters and an insane storyline make this an epic read.

just outstanding.

An excellent read, pacy and yet fantastically detailed and developed. Characters you genuinely care for and bad guys to really despise.

If you're reading the series this is going to be a real treat - and if you aren't, what are you waiting for?? Get stuck in!

Amazing prequal, great narration.
