Another Nugget of Arsien Goodness!

Maybe Mr Fuchs ought to be off writing something new you could say but I for me I really enjoyed this latest little gem from the history of the ZA. It's right up there in terms of pace, purpose and action with the last few books of the main series albeit with different characters and a Spetsnaz that take a slightly different character profile to what we have seen before in these books.

But, if RC Bray bringing to life just a few more hours of Arisen action in his own wonderful style, telling tall tales of top-rate special operators kicking ass in amongst enemies both human and dead is what you are after then this will deliver that like a grenade going off between your headphones!

Another wild ride in the ZA

I wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much knowing the usual Alpha crew wouldn't be throwing down maximum violence in the ZA but God damn Michael Stephen Fuchs has done it again.

The only thing that I can possibly criticise this for is that it's over far too soon.

Short, sharp and Beautiful

There will be many how complain this is too short. For me it's simply brilliant. Both MSF and RC Bray at their best present a wonderful, poignant story that just grips you from the get go. As a true fan, I appreciated every single second of a wonderful story🔥🔥 MORE🔥...Please

Yet another awesome story

Absolutely fantastic, like every great performance there’s a encore. If this waste adds by anyone else other than RC Bray it would have been good/ great. Thank you both for the awesome story and outstanding performance.

Loved this snip-it only wish it were 30 hrs!

I have every iteration of this series. It is the Gold Standard of shoot-em up, action packed, war talking, zombies killing, end of the world with a bit of humor. Man I wish it didn’t take so long for the next books in the series to come out. I also wish this was a Netflix series.
Any of these books are a good read but if you’re just starting you should begin here. This book covers the early days of the ZA Wars and answers the questions how the USS Kennedy and the Russians. This series is also very timely with the cursed China birthing yet another deadly worldwide virus. If you’re on the fence be careful because this series will hook you like no other,

After. 2nd thought there are two other series that truly hooked me like this series does Keith C. Blackmore’s The Mountain Man and Taylor Anderson’s The Destroyermen Series. These three will keep you entertained and laughing while on the edge of you seat for years. Golden!

Great Book

Another great book by Mr. Fuchs. This is a short stand alone book, but well worth the few bucks to buy.
Ready for more.... but longer in format.

Good stand alone

Good stand alone to the Arisen series. Gives a bit more backstory to the outbreak outside HoA. I won't say much more, to avoid spoilers.

Another great work by Michael Stephen Fuchs and R.C. Bray.

Good book

The story was a nice addition to the series but some of the dialogue was different than the rest of the book, some of the jokes didn’t hit like they should have. It was a short story sooo don’t expect to get close to the characters. When some of them died I simply said ok. It was no big deal. The Russians are amazing as usual. They were written and performed great. The American characters were great as well but RC Bray just knows how to dish out the accents left and right. He is by far the best narrator alive right now. Some are too squeaky or make weird noises with there mouth but not Mr. Bray he is smooth and methodical with his voice. Overall for the price I paid it was worth it.

Great story but too compact.

I'm terrible at reviews so I'll keep it brief. The Arisen series was among the first audiobooks that I listened to and R.C. Bray + Michael Stephen Fuchs will always be the gold standard for me. I love these books so much. That said, I found this story too short. I know this is compensated by the low price, but I guess I have gotten used to the detailed story lines of the other books. I would have loved to have heard more about the characters and their situation. In short: good story, but not as fleshed out as the others. R.C. Bray is perfect as always.
