About this listen
With the Earth and her new outpost connected through a newfound interplanetary device, Rhys and Jason have the ability to explore the universe. And for Rhys, it's a chance to not just explore, but to learn all he can. As a scientist, he's always considered learning at the top of his lifelong dreams. But what happens when their chance to explore and learn turns deadly? And the threats to their project didn't stop when Rhys and Jason left Earth for Terra.
Even as the migration to their new home-world becomes mundane, threats to the very project that bridges them to strange new worlds can strike when they least expect it.
©2019 Walter H. Hopgood (P)2019 Walter H. HopgoodThe second in the Migration series, this book was more enjoyable, concentrating on the adventure of the small exploring party (rather than forever concentrating on the married aspect of the two main protagonists). Still amusing in part, this book is far less disjointed than its predecessor and, consequently, more enjoyable. Narrator Gary Noon again gives a good performance, reading with good pacing and expression as well as voicing each protagonist individually and increasing the reader's involvement with the story.
My thanks to the rights holder of Migration: Knowledge 2, who, as my request, freely gifted me with a complimentary copy, via Audiobook Boom. More original and enjoyable than it's predecessor, this book could easily be read as a stand alone
