I hated studying Macbeth but this at least put the play into perspective – and at the same time it delivers some good info if you need to cram.

This was an okay short audio guide to Macbeth. The narrator was good, with a clear and easy-to-follow reading style, and the guide itself gave a useful overview of the play.

However, I picked this up expecting the humorous element promised in the title, and I’m still not entirely sure where that was! For something marketed as a humorous guide, I expected a few more laughs or at least a more light-hearted approach.

Useful as a quick, clearly narrated introduction to Macbeth, but a little disappointing if, like me, you were expecting the comedy alongside the Shakespeare.
