Summary

So, you are stuck with having to revise Macbeth, a Scottish play by a dead Tudor dude with a lousy haircut. In the next 30 minutes, I am going to make this revision process as pain free as possible. Trust me.

William Lloydson takes a break from his YouTube day job and adopts an alias to bring you this amusing approach to your English Literature revision.

There is a summary section giving you a breakdown of exactly what happens in the play. There are notable quotes, a section on themes and some character analysis, and finally, a look at some of the exam questions that seem to appear regularly.

Makes Macbet Memorable

Got hold of this revision guide from my English lit teacher, it was funny and amusing and an easy way to listen to some of the quotes from the text.

Good revision guide

Picked this up as I really needed to get some revision work done on this book, it was a whole lot easier than reading a revision guide and was short and to the point. Probably covers the main bits you need to know with a joke or two along the way.

Macbeth

It covers enough and is short and interesting, I will listen to this again straight before the exam and that should mean that the main quote, themes etc. are fresh in my memory.

Shakespeare’s Macbeth

The intro had me laughing out loud, but it does get the main points across in a way that does help you remember them. There is a good summary of the play and a run down of all the main characters.

Macbeth Revision

A revision guide that at least isn’t boring, have this on my phone and will listen to it again as part of my main exam revision. The section on quotes is quite useful these are never easy to remember and having them on audio with a quick explanation of why they are relevant I think is quite helpful.
