Loving Simone is a fascinatingly honest book about relationships. Jessica Tilles has crafted this book in such an interesting way. Some of the story was necessarily crude and starkly candid while other moments more sensitively addressed. The characters are remarkably human and honest as well.

I will admit that there were moments the story had me at the edge of my seat because the characters were going through so much. I wanted to stop listening and take a break because the characters were making painful choices. But even while I felt the desire to pause the book, I could not stop listening. I think what struck the most about this story is how most people can relate to parts of the story. The experiences and emotions are real even while the characters are fictitious.

Kelley Hazen, as always, has given a stellar performance. She somehow manages to convey the subtle nuances of each character's personality as she narrates the book.

Fantastic all around!
