Before the end of the first chapter I knew this was a book I was going to like. But I was wrong - I loved it! It's chock full of likeable and relatable characters (as well as a few unsavoury possibly relatable ones!) and a storyline with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. I love a good detective story and this hit the spot!

Absolutely gripping story! Can’t wait for more from this series. Twisty and compulsive with fantastic characters. Loved Sheridan and can’t wait to watch her story unfold. Definitely a new must buy author for me.

I enjoyed the little twist / misdirection towards the end, I didn’t enjoy the pronunciation of some of the words (that’s a listener/individual preference). Overall was a good listen. On to book 2
