When Vanessa Price quit her job to pursue her dream of traveling the globe, she wasn't expecting to gain millions of YouTube followers who shared her joy of seizing every moment. For her, living each day to its fullest isn't just a motto. Her mother and sister never saw the age of 30, and Vanessa doesn't want to take anything for granted.

But after her half-sister suddenly leaves Vanessa in custody of her baby daughter, life goes from 'daily adventure' to 'hourly nappy change'. The last person Vanessa expects to show up offering help is the hot lawyer next door, Adrian Copeland. After all, she barely knows him. No one warned her that he was the Secret Baby Tamer or that she'd be spending a whole lot of time with him and his geriatric Chihuahua.

Now she's feeling things she's vowed not to feel. Because the only thing worse than falling for Adrian is finding a little hope for a future she may never see.

This is the kind of novel that leaves you a little better than when it found you. Jimenez is a true talent

I was full of emotion reading this story, all through the book. The slow burn was a little slow in stages, but their connection was beautiful.

so much heart

Wow I love this book. Omg I got so emotional at the end. It’s like the flood gates opened just as I started to hear the end credits 🥹

Abby’s books are new to me but I can see amid the romance and the laughs there is a lot to learn about mental health, ALS and other things we take for granted or are ignorant about. I read “Just for the summer” before this and that was beautiful as well. Highly recommend.

The story was beautiful and I learnt so much

It's such a good book and as a standalone it's perfectly good but I felt the lead up of the relationship too long in comparison to the rest of the novel. it could have been longer.

Great narration (again!).

another great Abby Jimenez book... but...
