a great book like a good friend
after listening to this book, i felt like i got a friend who really gets it. it's like someone finally put into words what's been all tangled up inside me. the book doesn't just talk about problems, but actually shows how to stand up to them, which is actually the more important part. we all could recognize the problem sometimes, but lack of the courage to face it, tackle it then solve it. holding onto old hurts is like carrying a backpack full of rocks. i never thought about how my past have such a huge impact on how i do things and how i look at things now, but this book helped me to open my eyes. it's not all just "let it go" talk; there are real steps to take, i guess reading the words would be difficult, but listening to it is easier. it made me feel lighter, like i could maybe start dropping some of those rocks.
