Fantastic addition.

This has been my favourite short story in this series.
I was wrapped and enjoyed all the turns it took in such a short space of time. The characters are very relatable and just add to the bigger picture. Definitely worth the read as it gives fantastic insight into some the characters we know.
Also absolutely can’t fault the narration!

Great addition to a fantastic series

What a fun nugget of a story to add some additional life to this fantastic series. The narration is fantastic (Wolf somehow gets all my favorite narrators!) and the story helps add some color to the world

Great story, gray narration!

Michael Kramer is one of the best in the business. It’s not hard to absolutely love any narration he does. The story itself is concise, well written and exciting. Of the three novellas released, I believe that this one is my favorite - just so cool to see all the Ronin in all of their glory! Looking forward to getting book 3 in audiobook!

Cool prequel but fans of Ronin Saga beware of narrator change!

I have read the saga so far as well as the short stories. To introduce a friend to the series we binged the audiobooks on a the road. I have to say that although Michael Kramer is a great narrator in his own right he doesn’t hold a candle to Tim Gerard Reynolds. If you are listening to the short stories after starting the Ronin Saga I recommend skipping the short story audio versions. Narrator changes in a series (even for prequels and sub stories from different perspectives) are jarring. I usually spend the first hour or two trying to get used to the new narrators pronunciation and flow. It’s probably an easier transition if you don’t binge them like I did on audio. However, good luck trying not binging this series when TGR is narrating. Matt Wolf is awesome. Looking forward to book 4.
