About this listen

Kerry Sheridan came to Horizon with nothing but the clothes on her back and her name. She's lived for three years, fighting the blank spots in her memory and the urge to drink the rest of it into oblivion, haunted by blood-soaked nightmares that feel too real. It's an uneasy life, but the only one she can remember. When the body of her landlord is discovered, she knows it's time to go. But this time, it's not a straight road out of Horizon.

Leigh Grissom got this book under science fiction which is not exactly true, I would say Science Fiction Horror fits much better.
An audiobook which is hard to put down for breaks, it just grabs you and don’t want to let go.
Before I continue to Sabre-6 I’ll say that it’s not easy to give a true review yet especially that I’m not really into horror style genre but I have enjoyed all those unexpected twists which made this all interesting and intense !

Logan McAllister narrated this creation beautifully and perfectly.

For three years since Kerry escaped from the institution, Kerry has had blackouts and losses of memory: she could not even remember how she'd come to Horizon. But the nightmares were there, violent and angry, and from the physical damage she'd sustained, she'd hurt people, badly, even killed them. She'd been renamed KLS-9 and now someone was coming for her. This is a violent, unusual SF, h, horror thriller with sexual intention thrown in. Very fast paced and hard hitting, once started it is hard to put down. The characters might not be attractive but they do exude a mesmerising appeal.

Not an easy book to narrate convincingly in all probability, but Logan McAllister gave an excellent performance, voice slightly sinister as well as well modulated and paced. An exceptional book, only six hours in length, but fully packed with movement throughout.

My thanks to the rights holders of KLS-9, from whom, at my request, I received a freely gifted complimentary copy
