About this listen

As record numbers of us reach our pre-retirement or 'part-time' retirement years, it's essential to prepare for the massive life change that signals a move from working every day to living as we choose. The 30+ years that make up modern retirement are an opportunity to live well and make the most of our later years. This is where How to Have an Epic Retirement comes in.

There is no one who has more insight into what retirees want and what they need to know to achieve it than Bec Wilson. Armed with information and the best anecdotal knowledge from retirees and those planning to retire, Bec has compiled the ultimate guidebook for those who want to make the most of this time of their lives. With examples, common questions and information you can apply to your own circumstances, Bec addresses the six key pillars of a great retirement: time, money, health, happiness and fulfilment, travel and your home.

How to Have an Epic Retirement guides readers through the way the systems of retirement work, so you can learn the valuable lessons that modern retirees wish someone had shared with them before they kicked off the changes and stages of life that come after retirement.

This is a great book with lots of content. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy it as an audio book. There's a lot of information that needs to be referenced and this is sometimes tricky when you're listening to an audio book while doing something else. It would work if you have the audio book and the physical book, so you can go back through, make notes, reread certain sections, and skip others. Possibly an extra pdf with reference links to go back on would help. There are also sections where in a physical book you'd skip over as they are repetitive but important to that section.
Overall this is a great book, but needs both the physical and audio versions to get the best out of it.

Great content not a great audio book
