One of my new favorite series
Love the humour, their love for partners, the love between friends, worldbuilding and overall storytelling skills. All the different species, creatures who are blatantly themselves. This book gave me love heart, there is a dystopian part, but it ia certainly not to heavy) mphums, giggles. lol and people staring at me whilst cycling due to antics by Alistair,
Joel Leslie was for me the perfect narrator with all the voices and hitting the right intonation for wmotions and situations. What is not to love.
I highly recommend this series either in writing, audio or both.

Very good series
I really enjoyed this series. Although the books were about different couples, there was a continuous storyline throughout, culminating in the final book with a surprise ending. There were times I found myself laughing during the series while looking around to see who noticed. The narrator was also very good. He performed different accents and emotions for all of the main characters and side characters with no slip ups. All in all, a very satisfying series.

great voice acting.
I really enjoyed all of these books and I think it's an excellent introduction to this author and the hidden species world. Joel Leslie is a great voice actor and I think he has a really good range of accents he can do. I'm British and I thought his English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish accents are really good. So many don't do a good job with just an English accent, so to do so many accents across these characters is amazing. The characters are well written, really likeable and the overall story arc is well realised. I'm definitely going to get more books by Louisa Masters too.
