Story
Christmastime in an isolated country house and, following a flaming row in the kitchen, there’s murder inside. When a much disliked visiting servant disappears without trace after playing Santa Claus, foul play is at once suspected - and foul play it proves to be. Only suspicion falls not on the staff but on the guests, all so unimpeachably respectable that the very thought of murder in connection with any of them seems almost heresy.

Lina continues her life journey...
This series is quite enjoyable with the young heroine rebuilding a terrible childhood under the guidance of her elderly Mentor, "Griff", who specializes in antiques. The villains abound but some have a soft spot for the young china restorer and "divvie". (A nickname for one who can "divine" authentic china, as a water diviner does with water. In this episode, she has to handle more than she bargains for on her own for a while. The narrator does a great job of bringing out the characters and makes this an enjoyable yet suspenseful listen. Only one more book to go in the series but all have been very well done.
