I have found the meditations on this audio book to be profoundly relaxing, narrator has done a nice job, her voice is very helpful to meditation because she is telling the instructions with gentle voice.

What a wonderful book with some very useful

This is something that instantly clicked for me. It isn't overly complicated, and a lot of these can be done rather quickly in the morning, during a break in the day or even right before bed. I was impressed by the narration that made me feel very very calm.

Absolutely brilliant

For a number of years, I have tried meditation but always land up giving up as find it difficult to attend classes, this book was suggested to me by one of the meditators as something to try at home, I now use this book at home and it seems to be helping me to keep up with attending my class

Came across this book and I'm so thankful

To be completely honest I bought the book with very little hope that it was going to help me or do anything for me because my anxiety has been really bad & ever since the shooting in Vegas I have horrible panic attacks. I was so desperate to feel better I was trying everything and anything. I came across this book and I'm so thankful I did. It has helped me get a better understanding of what goes on when I'm having anxiety, what I can do to change it, and how to not let it control me or take over me and live my life without fear again.

It let me know I'm not the only one struggling

It let me know that I'm not the only one struggling to figure out how to meditate. I'm used to solving problems and thought I must be doing something wrong when all I have to do is relax and clear my mind.

The book was an easy listen and demystified the subject. It provided a very good summary of the tangible and intangible benefits of meditation. It then defined the types of meditation, and how to go about starting a meditation routine.

Find peace through meditation

I always thought one had to do meditation a certain way, that only monks could attain. After listening to this book, I discovered even I could find peace through meditation. Since practicing what I learned in this book, I sleep more at night, feel less stressed about the everyday situation, and generally feel happier all around.
