Summary

A heart-pounding edge-of-your-seat crime thriller with jaw-dropping twists

When I first met Susie, she appeared to be a normal, happily-married woman dealing with tragedy. Then I uncovered her secrets. While I could understand everything that she’d done, I could never approve. But, knowing what she was capable of, it became clear that if I was going to survive her, I had to play by her rules. And, the first and most important rule is...leave no singing bones.

It's Grisham with teeth (or a knife)

I chose this book because I'd seen somewhere that the Sunday Times had likened it to Strangers on a Train.

I get the reference and it does make perfect sense, but don't be fooled. This isn't still black and white noir movie characters. Far from it.

This is well thought out, an insightful legal thriller with fantastic twists! And it gets you because it made me think about what I would do in their situation. Probably the same! lol

I enjoyed it so much, I listened to the whole thing on my journey south for the Easter break!

Now, I can't wait for the sequel!

ok

this book was just ok. the premise seemed great, couldn't wait to start reading but overall it was a bit of a let down! I don't like leaving bad or even mediocre reviews but this was a disappointment unfortunately. it started a bit slow (like alot of books do) then it became far fetched, then very slow again and then it fizzled out to not very much, there was no pay off at all! over all, as much as I hate to say it, i wasn't impressed!

A no no for me !

Not what I was expecting at all. Waste of a credit.Certainly didn't find anything riveting about it.
