I have read this book a few times but took great pleasure in listing to Jeff Harding fabulous reading. John Connolly makes his characters come to life as true people and you immediately get engaged with the story. Get it - you won’t regret it.

What does Jeff Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Jeff Harding makes the work live...without his masterful characterisation of the characters voices it could collapse into tedium. You need a voice to carry the plot along and that's Mr Harding's talent.

Both guilty parties were predictable, but some twists and information along the way which made the book worth the listen.

I took a chance on this author, after an Audible recommendation. I'm so pleased I took the chance.
The story was well paced, engaging and did the thing I most enjoy in a clever well written book. takes, you on a journey. You think you know where it is leading and you have been lead up the garden path.
The performance was tip top. I found the actor had just the right amount of variation in voice to make all the characters three dimensional.
