Good story, well read. Her voice is relaxing and the story length is good. I have this one in my favourites list

I listened mid afternoon for a break. It would work well for bedtime too. The narrator has a soothing voice. The ending was a teeny bit abrupt - unexpected - and took me by surprise. Narrator was very like Michelle's Sleep Stories Sanctuary, an excellent podcast on Audible, but without any meditative start or finish. Despite this I'd recommend this as a listen as it certainly paints a lovely picture of a journey following the river.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOOK BECAUSE IT IS PAINFULLY PAINFULLY PAINFULLY BORING. the performance was good at 1.7 speed minimum but sorry it was the worst ever
