Verily, verily, in the beginning I lost nine-and-a-half stone on a slow-carb diet modeled on that of Tim Ferriss in his book The 4-Hour Body.

My book, Slow Carb 2, tweaking that diet, with extras including testosterone boosting and vegan options is worth a look.

But the weight loss reached a plateau even with that excellent diet, so I decided to change things up a bit, the following are some of the diets I either tried, in some cases created or have been interested in since, with my reflections, in alphabetical order. You may come across one you like the sound of, or alternatively some you will then wisely plan to avoid!

I am sure most if not all can be done more successfully and certainly more healthily than I have, so these are just my personal experiences and opinions.
