I love all the DAMC kindle books and gave started getting the audible books. I started with my favorites and Slade was 3rd on my list. I love his and Di's characters and the birthday seen had me laughing out loud. Definitely a must listen to book.

Where to start? I have read the whole series multiple times and heard so many good things about listening to the stories through audible so started last year and have been impressed with each and everyone of them, Jeanne St James is an amazing writer and each person chosen to narrate her stories do a great job of getting the emotions across.
Ava is just brilliant with great voices for each character.
Aaron has the perfect voice for Slade, definitely what I pictured while reading the book myself, strong and deep.
I love Slade and Diamond, the have a nitty, gritty romance with hardships and trouble to overcome.
Slade doesn't want an ol' lady and Diamond has always wanted to be one.
Would love to say more but can't as don't want to give away spoilers for those that haven't read or listened to the books.
Can't wait for the next book.
Definitely a must read and listen.

This book is fantastic. I love the Sex with an edge to it. These two characters are so perfect for each other! Great storyline, amazing characters and it leads into the next book perfectly. Well written as usual from Jeanne, and a brilliant performance from both narrators.

This is the first of this author that I have listened to and it makes me wish I had discovered her work sooner! I also wish I had read the other books in the series. It did pretty well as a standalone but I think it would have been so much better if I had gotten to know the other characters that are featured in this book too. I also think the events going on with the rival gang would have been easier for me to follow. Regardless, I though Slade and Diamond's relationship was super s. e. x. y. The author writes some very steamy scenes that are VERY well written. We also discover how Diamond and Slade's backgrounds are connected. I really enjoyed this author's writing and diving into this MC series!

I haven't listened to Ava Lucas before, but she has been on my list of narrators I want to listen to for a while now, and she did not disappoint! I have had the pleasure of listening to Aaron Shedlock as a narrator before and his voice is still super s. e. x. y and he is still one of my favorite Male narrator voices. These two set this super hot fast paced romance on fire. Absolutely great narration that made this an easy one setting listen.

I have been waiting for Slade's story and found this just so satisfying! Slade and Diamond have been circling each other for a while, and now after watching Diamond at her birthday party, Slade finally gives in and gives her his present! These two both are strong willed and full of attitude. Diamond can be harsh at times, but Slade has found a way to tame her and these two have found their way. I have to say, I was looking forward to this book because I was unsure of Slade. He has been a wild card in my mind, showing up as he did, coming to the aid of the women and being patched so quickly, my hope was he was a good man. Diamond, as true to her name, is hard and sometimes cold and biting, but she has a warm heart and her loyalty and love run deep. This combination makes for a hot and volatile couple and I loved every minute of their banter and passion. The best part for me about this series, besides the great characters is the underlying stories. This one has a twist in it that surprised me and made me wonder how it would play out! The suspense, the anguish and realization of what life has dealt is Slade and the Club is captivating, keeping me on the edge to see the outcome. While Slade may not be my favorite hero of the Dirty Angels, I think this couple together may be! They are so well matched it makes you love them all the more.

Jeanne St James is so particular about picking her narrators for this series, and I am so happy she is. Each one is specific to the role and this one could not have been more perfect. Aaron Shedlock as Slade is amazing. His narration is so natural, and gives Slade that edge so you know when he speaks, you know he means what he says. The alpha sound is slightly growlie, but he also brings that emotional side in when needed and your heart melts. Ava Lucas is nothing short of incredible. Her sultry voice and spunky attitude is Diamond. No other could bring the women of this MC to life like she does, you can tell she knows each character and with each inflection and voice creates the most intricate cast for us to follow. I love this team!
