About this listen
With King Richard making war on the French and Prince Llywelyn consolidating power in Wales, peace prevails across England and the Welsh Marches. But bloody strife rages in the North of Ireland, drawing Declan O’Duinne back to his homeland. He’s been 10 years gone, but some things never change.
The Anglo-Normans relentlessly expand their Irish domains while the Irish kings fight among themselves. Can Declan and his fellow knight, Roland Inness, help save what’s left of free Ireland?

Great Series

The Irish accent is a southern Irish accent not an Ulster accent all through these stories. As my mother is from Armagh and the family visited every summer, this o begorra me boyo tone was grating. And Tandragee is pronounced more like, “tangerine” than tand rag eee. There were a couple of other howlers for Northern Irish folk but just have to ignore them. Most people will not notice. Still enjoyed it but Roland was not involved in the story actively got most of the story although that made sense for the plot. Have enjoyed the series and now will move in to the next book.
Good story.
