Child and wife abuse are the core of this novel, storylines I usually avoid. However I have enjoyed other of Danielle Girard’s books and Nicol Zanzarella is a wonderful narrator so I thought I’d try this one. It was worth it - well written and well narrated and we were left guessing who did what, why and how. The issues were also tackled well.

DNF. It's not often I have to stop listening to something, but when you are listening to graphic details of a child being raped or a man wanking thinking about a child it's just too much! Something don't need to be described in such graphic detail! Won't be reading another of this authors books!
