Summary

Brilliant entertainment!
This series just never gets old. I am always gripped by the story from the first world to the last. The total best world building and cast of characters ever written.
Highly recommended!

Love the book, the narration not so much
What did you like most about Calculated in Death?
I love the In Death series. Calculated in Death is as brilliant as the previous 35. I also have it on kindle
Who was your favorite character and why?
They are all my favourites! Roarke and Eve obviously as the main characters but I love Peabody and McNab and their relationship.
What didn’t you like about Susan Ericksen’s performance?
Her voice/tone is too hard, the voices are not how i imagine them (but i expect that's impossible to achieve and would be different for each reader).

Lt Dallas and Rourke are a winning combination
I eagerly await each new book in this series.
The characters are well developed and believable. As a reader you see the characters growing and filling out, becoming more interesting and their interaction is amusing but the books work well on a suspense level too.
The books are set in the future but the plots are very this world but with a subtle twist.
I would strongly recommend any book in this series as an enjoyable read for those who like their books to be entertaining.
The reader for this series is an excellent choice she projects just the right amount attitude for the characters.

Laughed at Eve's handling of the sick child.
2023 AUDIBLE REVIEW
Lots of good police work and I absolutely laughed out loud at Eve dealing with the child with a cold.
I do listen at a faster speed.
BOOK REVIEW
More death caused by others greed. And apart from the first death, I didn’t care about the next two.
A bit slow in edge of the seat entertainment this time. Lacking the gripping drama of other stories but enjoyable for the time spent with the gang and having the Icove Agenda movie premier happening.
Would have loved to have seen everyone all dolled up.
Eve makes a mistake and was a bit slow in not realising they would take out the crooked accountant before she could speak to him.
The ending was all tidied but just lacking a good polished finish.
Wish Eve had sorted that idiot Candida out.
I have owned most of these books in paperback for years but now have them all in eBook format, so I am rereading this series once more in order, updating and replacing missing reviews.
Even knowing what is in the future, it is absolutely no hardship to reread this series and I am really enjoying how all the characters are growing and changing.

Absolutely brilliant!
Would you consider the audio edition of Calculated in Death to be better than the print version?
I love reading the series but I particularly find it easy to listen to it while I was doing my housework. It made the chores so much easier to get thro!
Who was your favorite character and why?
I am a great fan of Eve and I also love the chemistry between her and Roarke.

Eve of course.
